Laetitia Casta Biography

Laetitia Casta, is a famous French supermodel. She was born in the year 1978 in Normandy. Her modeling career began at the age of fifteen, when she got introduced to a photographer.

Some of her modeling assignments include L’Oreal, Diora and Chanel. She has also appeared in magazines such as Vogue, Elle. One of her most popular appearance was in the catalog of Victoria’s Secret. She has also appeared in Tommy Hilfiger, Sports Illustrated, and Rolling Stone. She has the credit of having appeared in more than hundred magazine covers.

A very significant thing about Casta’s career is that, she was chosen as the model for Marianne, a symbol of the French Republic. The symbol stands out of every French hall and the image is also used in stamps. Though the images of Marianne are changed frequently, Casta is still popular among the French mayors.
